Increase of the Minimum Wage 2026
Con fecha 03 de diciembre de 2025 la presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo ha anunciado oficialmente el incremento al salario mínimo 2026.
El Consejo de Representantes de la Comisión Nacional de los Salarios Mínimos (Conasami) resolvió un aumento al Salario Mínimo General y Profesionales del 13% y, del 5% en la Zona Libre de la Frontera Norte (ZLFN).
El salario mínimo general pasará de $278.80 a $315.04 pesos diarios.
Por otro lado, en la Zona Libre de la Frontera Norte pasará de $419.88 a $440.87 pesos diarios.
Finalmente, una vez que este decreto sea publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF), el incremento salarial entrará en vigor el 01 de enero de 2026.

The Council of Representatives of the National Minimum Wage Commission (Conasami) announced a 13% hike for the General and Professional Minimum Wage, along with a 5% increase for workers in the Northern Border Free Zone (ZLFN).
The general minimum wage will increase from $278.80 to $315.04 per day
Meanwhile, in the Northern Border Free Zone, the minimum wage will rise from $419.88 to $440.87 per day.
Finally, once this decree is published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), the wage increase will take effect on January 1st, 2026.
