M\u00e9xico, el secretario del Trabajo, Marath Bola\u00f1os, inform\u00f3 que el Ejecutivo Federal presentar\u00e1 ante el Congreso de la Uni\u00f3n las iniciativas para llevar a cabo la reducci\u00f3n de la jornada laboral. En su intervenci\u00f3n, destac\u00f3 que existir\u00e1n los siguientes cambios:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a553b77 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4a553b77\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol>\n \t<li>La duraci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima de la jornada laboral ser\u00e1 de 40 horas semanales.<\/li>\n\n \t<li>Se establece que la suma de la jornada ordinaria y la jornada extraordinaria no podr\u00e1 exceder de 12 horas en un mismo d\u00eda.<\/li>\n \t<li>Los menores de edad no podr\u00e1n laborar tiempo extraordinario.<\/li>\n \t<li>La reducci\u00f3n de la jornada de trabajo no implica reducci\u00f3n salarial.<\/li>\n \t<li>El tiempo extraordinario no podr\u00e1 exceder de 12 horas semanales, las cuales se podr\u00e1n distribuir en hasta 4 horas diarias, en un m\u00e1ximo de 4 d\u00edas.<\/li>\n \t<li>La prolongaci\u00f3n del tiempo extraordinario que supere las 12 horas semanales, se\u00f1aladas en el numeral anterior, no podr\u00e1 exceder de 4 horas, las cuales se deber\u00e1n de pagar al triple.<\/li>\n \t<li>Se adiciona, como obligaci\u00f3n para el patr\u00f3n, el registro electr\u00f3nico de la jornada laboral de sus trabajadores. Respecto de este punto, la STPS emitir\u00e1 las disposiciones necesarias para su regulaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n \t<li>La reducci\u00f3n de la jornada laboral se llevar\u00e1 a cabo de manera gradual, iniciando en el a\u00f1o 2027 y concluyendo en 2030. In his remarks, he emphasized that the following changes will take place:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-69f3a0e7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"69f3a0e7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>The maximum duration of the work week shall be 40 hours.<\/li><li>The total of regular working hours and overtime may not exceed 12 hours in a single day.<\/li><li>Minors shall not be permitted to perform overtime work.<\/li><li>The reduction of the work week shall not entail any reduction in wages.<\/li><li>Overtime shall not exceed 12 hours per week, which may be distributed in up to 4 hours per day, for a maximum of 4 days per week.<\/li><li>Any overtime exceeding the 12 weekly hours referenced in the preceding numeral may not exceed an additional 4 hours, which shall be paid at triple the regular rate.<\/li><li>An obligation is added for employers to maintain an electronic record of the working hours of their employees. Regarding this matter, the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) will issue the corresponding regulatory provisions.<\/li><li>The reduction of the workweek shall be implemented gradually, beginning in 2027 and concluding in 2030.
